02 August 2019
  • Artist Village

    Friday 02 August 2019 08:00am - 05:00pm

The Shediac Artists Village is undergoing a makeover: unveiling of a new logo, date changes and investments in improved booths. Following a public contest launched this past fall season, the committee selected Jean Godreau, who won the honours for his creation of the new Artists Village logo.

The date of the event, which is usually set on the third week of July, was moved to the height of tourist season. From Friday, August 2-4, the Shediac Multipurpose Centre will be converted into a gigantic art gallery. Close to forty artist painters from New Brunswick and Quebec will exhibit their works of art during that weekend.

The 2019 opening ceremonies will take place on Friday, August 2 from 4-6 p.m. at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre. The Artists Village’s opening hours will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
