Born in Moncton, this self-taught artist grew up in Grand-Barachois, next to the Northumberland Straight. Surrounded by nature, Marc finds his inspiration in the beauty of a sunset on a deserted beach, in the deep blue of a sky, and in the majesty of a lone tree in a field.
Marc started his career painting scenes of nature and decorating storefronts for local businesses for the holidays. His work was so well received that he started doing mural paintings. “This was the turning point in my artistic career, and I started to take painting more seriously,” says Mr. Doiron. In fact, his creativity, his attention to detail and his ability to create paintings on large surfaces quickly drew the attention of decorators, and his works are now in great demand all over southeast New Brunswick.
Marc is a member of a photography club in Shediac, and he develops his techniques and the photographic compositions that he uses in his works of arts. He has displayed his works at the Art Gallery of the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre, in New Brunswick.
