Over the past three years, Shediac has experienced one of the highest growth rates in New Brunswick. To effectively support this growth, the town adopted a new municipal strategic plan in 2025. In the same vein, we are currently working on developing a master plan for recreation that will guide the development, improvement, and management of our services, facilities, and programs in recreation, community life, and culture for the next ten years.
This plan aims to meet the changing needs of our population while promoting a collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable approach. It will also include an update to the municipal cultural policy to ensure strong alignment between cultural, community, and recreational components.
To achieve this, your input is essential! We are therefore launching a survey to gather ideas, needs, and suggestions from residents, as well as from organizations and associations in the municipality.
