The Town of Shediac invites you to participate in public consultations to help define the priorities for action needed to be recognized as an Age-Friendly Municipality.
 
Dates and locations:
 
• Thursday, April 2 – French – 6 to 9 PM
Shediac Multipurpose Centre
 
• Tuesday, April 7 – English – 9AM to 12PM
Pointe-du-Chêne Recreation and Community Centre
 
• Friday, April 17 – French – 9AM to 12PM
Scoudouc Golden Age Club
 
• Tuesday, April 28 – English – 6 to 9 PM

How to participate
The consultations will take the form of focus groups, allowing for direct and constructive discussion.

No prior registration is required, but your participation is strongly encouraged. Come share your ideas and actively contribute to the development of our community!

 

 

Walking Club
 
The public is invited to join the walking club beginning on May 4 at 9 a.m. at John Lyons Park.
Meetings will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
 
At the first meeting, participants will have the opportunity to speak with Jean Short who have generously agreed to guide and lead the group.
This activity is free and open to all fitness levels.

Chair Yoga 50+ | Free

 
The Multipurpose Centre invites you to participate in a series of 10 chair yoga sessions, specially adapted for people aged 50 and over.
Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. [February 2, 9, 23 - March 9, 16, 23, 30 - April 13, 20, 27]
