Launch of Facebook page Shediac+: Your new source of community information
Shediac, NB - The Town of Shediac is proud to announce the official launch of its new Facebook page: Shediac+. The mission of this dynamic platform is to promote the events, activities, projects and initiatives that animate local community life.
Shediac+ will highlight not only municipal events, but also those of the many groups, organizations and partners who actively contribute to the vitality of our region. Whether you're a citizen, a visitor or just curious about what's going on in our beautiful municipality, Shediac+ becomes the place to stay connected to your community.
"Our team at the Town of Shediac has created this page to provide easy, centralized, bilingual access to all community, cultural, and recreational information about the municipality,” said Shediac Mayor Roger Caissie. "Shediac+ is now the best way to find out about all the activities that make our town so vibrant."
The Town would like to remind you that:
• The Town of Shediac page will continue to share certain events of interest, but will be mainly dedicated to the municipality's operational and administrative communications (public notices, works, services, etc.);
• The Experience Shediac page continues to focus on tourism, major brand events and promoting the destination to visitors.
