The Municipal Council of Shediac is considering the adoption of three municipal by-laws, the Procedural by-law no. 3, the Code of Conduct no. 64 and the remunearation of council memvers by-law no. 3. As part of these process, the municipality intends to conduct the first and second readings by title at the meeting on April 7, 2026, and to conduct a reading at a subsequent meeting by summary rather than a full reading of the three municipal by-laws, as permitted by section 15(3) of the Local Governance Act.
Those interested in this draft by-laws may consult the document at the clerk’s office at Shediac Town Hall Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 4 PM and Friday from 8 AM to noon.
