The Municipal Council of Shediac is considering the adoption of a municipal by-law related to Development charges in the Town of Shediac. As part of this process, the municipality intends to conduct the first and second readings by title at the meeting on April 20, 2026, and to conduct a reading by summary rather than a full reading of by-law No. 71 as permitted by section 15(3) of the Local Governance Act at the May 5, 2026, regular meeting. The municipal council unanimously adopted this resolution at its meeting on April 20.
Those interested in this draft by-laws may consult the document at the clerk’s office at Shediac Town Hall Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 4 PM and Friday from 8 AM to noon.
